Welcome to Reiki for Mental Health Professionals- Part 2

Reiki for Mental Health Professionals™ – Part 2

Integrating Reiki with Evidence-Based Clinical Practice

Format: 8-Hour Live, In-Person Training
Prerequisite: Completion of Reiki for Mental Health Professionals™ – Part 1 and Reiki Level I & II

Reiki for Mental Health Professionals™ – Part 2 is an advanced, live practicum designed to support licensed and pre-licensed mental health professionals in ethically integrating Reiki as a regulation-supportive adjunct within evidence-based psychotherapy. This course does not teach Reiki techniques; instead, it focuses on clinical application, ethical decision-making, and professional integration within established standards of care.

Participants will explore how Reiki may support nervous system regulation, therapeutic presence, and client readiness when used alongside evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Emphasis is placed on maintaining psychotherapy as the primary intervention while using Reiki to support stabilization, emotional regulation, and engagement in treatment.

Through case conceptualization, guided integration exercises, and clinical discussion, participants will develop the skills needed to assess client readiness, apply informed consent, and integrate Reiki without compromising protocol fidelity or scope of practice. The training also addresses documentation practices, risk management, and ethical boundaries to ensure integration remains transparent, defensible, and aligned with licensing board expectations.

This course is intended for mental health professionals seeking a structured, trauma-informed framework for responding to client interest in holistic care while maintaining clinical rigor, ethical integrity, and professional confidence.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this 8-hour live training, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify appropriate clinical contexts in which Reiki may be ethically integrated as a regulation-supportive adjunct to evidence-based mental health treatment.
  2. Differentiate between Reiki as a supportive regulation practice and primary psychotherapeutic interventions within licensed clinical practice.
  3. Apply trauma-informed principles, including client readiness, informed consent, and stabilization, when integrating Reiki into psychotherapy.
  4. Integrate Reiki support alongside evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, and EMDR while maintaining protocol fidelity and scope of practice.
  5. Demonstrate ethical documentation, risk-management strategies, and professional language for Reiki-integrated clinical sessions.
